FAQ

  • Yes. If you do not have a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with BlackRazor Capital LLC (DBA BlackRazor Rentals) listed as "Additional Insured" or "Loss Payee", a refundable security deposit is required before delivery.

    The deposit is taken as a temporary authorization hold on your credit or debit card—this is not a charge. The hold amount depends on the equipment rented and is used to cover potential damages, excessive wear, missing items, overtime engine hours, or cleaning fees.

    After the equipment is picked up and passes inspection, we release the hold within 24 hours.
    Once released, your bank controls how quickly the funds return to your available balance:

    • Most credit cards: 1–3 business days
    • Most debit cards: 3–7 business days
    • Some banks/credit unions: up to 7–10 business days

    Please note that we do not receive or control these funds during the hold period—your bank simply reserves the amount until it clears.

    If you prefer not to place a deposit hold, you may provide a valid COI that meets our coverage requirements.

  • Yes - a valid government-issued driver's license is required.  A photocopy (front and back) of your driver's license is required prior to delivery of your rental machine or attachment(s).

  • All Engine Hours are recorded on the machine's meter.  Daily rentals include 8 engine hours.  Weekly includes 40.  Monthly includes 160.  

  • Excess hours are billed by the machine meter hour at the posted overtime rate.  Kubota SVL65-2 is billed at $45 per excess Engine Hour.  SANY SY35U is billed at $40 per excess Engine Hour.

  • All deliveries are scheduled for 8 AM on the morning of your rental.  When booking a reservation on the website, a later delivery time can be requested (and we will try to accommodate).  Accommodated late delivery requests do NOT extend the rental pickup time of 8 AM on the return date.

  • Yes - BlackRazor Rentals handles all equipment delivery and pickup.  We do not offer a customer pickup option at this time.  Delivery/pickup charges apply.

  • We understand that plans change, but because our equipment is scheduled in advance and delivery windows are limited, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.

    If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, your booking deposit is fully refundable.

    If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, arrive late, are not available for delivery, or fail to provide the required documents (COI or security deposit), the booking deposit is forfeited and may not be applied to a future rental.

    This policy ensures that equipment reserved exclusively for your job is not held out of service for another customer.

  • Yes. Equipment should be returned in reasonably clean condition, similar to how it was delivered. Normal dirt and light use are expected, but excessive buildup of mud, sand, clay, cement, debris, or material packed into the tracks, undercarriage, or attachment areas will result in a cleaning fee.

    Because our machines operate in a variety of environments, cleaning standards help ensure the equipment is safe, functional, and ready for the next customer. If the equipment is returned heavily soiled—such as caked mud in the track system, buckets full of material, or debris jammed into moving parts—additional cleaning time is required to prevent wear or mechanical issues.
